Can we get a quick rundown please of what positions a crew member can be in during combat and still attack with their equipped weapon?
Getting tired of having to shuffle selected crew about because their armed with say a Snubber (combat shotgun equivalent?) but can't shoot it from the second position, only in 3rd or 4th. Know it's in the works but seeing what each crew is equipped with prior to picking them for combat will be a big help as well.

xdesperado - currently crew weapons have no impact on range in combat, only Talents. When you add a crew into a combat, it will state their preferred position. That can help a lot to make sure you get them in the right place. That preferred position value is calculated by looking at their Talents.

Haven't seen any preferred position listings but I'll look closer next time I end up in combat. That said I have been running into messages saying that a crew member can't attack from current position but usually moving them either forward or back in order will allow them to attack on their following actions. Seems to happen most commonly when a crew is equipped with a Snubber and they only want to fire if in the last 2 positions farthest from the enemy.

xdesperado - the dots underneath each crew Talent indicate-- (1) left side dots indicate which positions you can use the Talent from (2) right side dots indicate which position you can target with this Talent I hope that helps?

xdesperadoWhen you click on someone to select them for combat there should be a toast at the bottom of the screen: Wants: 0 Got: 1 For example.

Some part of positioning or weapons range might could be better considered. A snubber is good to use within about 10 yards max, but is even better the closer you get. Likewise, being further away would allow for hitting more targets but with significantly less damage.

Just stating that right now it has no effect, so xdesperado shouldn't be looking at the weapon when he can't fire at something. It is always the Talent.

Wut? You don't like cryptic toasts? I thought that UI was final
