I know the scrolling lower right log is tuned to help with pass/fails, etc... but it would be great to have a 'log' button on the screen to be able to scroll back a certain amount of turns. I'm thinking of several times that I travelled through a sector and came out the other end with a lot of damage, poor health, etc... and not quite sure what the heck caused it. (I probably missed an ion storm or radiation in a sector, or something like that). Have you thought of making any type of warning system in the new HUD/UI?
Cory mentioned on the twitch-cast that there would be options on how much info to display (which is great!) for the various player styles.
I was thinking of a button kind of like the one in one of the combat screens, where you can get more info (can't remember if it's crew or ship combat), so I could scroll back xx number of turns to review the log.
