Some of these really look like data dupe or double make on the same database.
Are you clearing files between upgrades, removing them pre-install?
I'm concerned because we've been a bunch of bugs from you on this releases that look really suspiciously like data corruption or back version / map / game file mix.

restarted the game and everything cleared up. (contact nub on planet appeared)
I deleted everything prior to installing 1.0.21, this game is on 1.0.23, but started it on 1.0.21
Perhaps delete everything and start over?

No I bet you become aware of the Contact due to an event somewhere while you were in the Quadrant and it didn't update the map when it happened.
But the Zone always checked fresh. I'm less worried now, I was able to replicate this and figure out the issue with Doctor in your saved games -- I think you're good.

I'm a coder, so actually like the alpha testing process... normally I'm having to do it for/by myself, happy to help make ST2 the best it can be (which will be amazing)
