Which app version? And are you doing anything?

@starfixer - this is very likely because you have maps from an older version. This update required a full delete of all previous map and captain content, otherwise the game will crash

Delete all the files from /~/Library/StarTraders2/ and see if that help.

I tried deleting everything with "star traders 2" in it from my files, but the maps were strangely still there

On the Mac, you have to go to the path I listed.
/~/Library/StarTraders2/

Got it. Had to go to the terminal to find it, as it wasn't showing up under "all my files".
Yay, it works! Thanks

Got it. Had to go to the terminal to find it, as it wasn't showing up under "all my files". Yay, it works! Thanks @starfixer, we may need to do this again for future alpha releases. Simple instructions below: Move Game app to trash Open a finder Window Select GO from the menu at the top of your screen Press the OPTION key, and you will see a hidden folder appear near the middle called LIBRARY Select LIBRARY Scroll down to the StarTraders2 folder and move to trash (this folder contains your existing games, maps, templates) Install new version We only need to do this when the instructions from TB state that we need to completely delete previous versions. If data structures haven't changed, the instructions will let you know to just install the new version on top of the old. Hope this makes it easier for you down the road
