I have to keep spending too much money to get them cured, even when we aren't being attacked by Xenos in teapots and the like.
Can you make us a Gym to promote better health?

I haven't noticed it doing much.

Ha! That's one reason I'm not considering it.

A medical bay is the component that should be helping. You could install a Medical Bay to heal damage from failed tests, or resolve the tests. Some injuries cannot be avoided -- the Medical Bay (and Doctor) are the only way to deal with those.
I'll look into the Medical Bay rules and make sure you can feel the effects more, or at least get notes.

Good to know. The medical bay is a good thing to have if you want to heal after being injured, but can we get something that makes us fitter, i.e. less likely to be injured in the first place?

grävling - I dont think so. If there is an explosion in the engine room from an incoming torp, those beautiful triceps aren't going to save you.

ROFL.
But my crew keep getting sick just riding around in the ship from the port we start out in to our very first destination. I am getting failing doctor tests like crazy, since I either don't have any doctor at all on board yet, or have a level 1 doctor who is bad at the job. Until I get more levels into my doctor, my crew keeps dropping like flies and even dying even with no combat of any sort. Now that the planets are more spread out, the problem is worse. I just hoped I could do something preventative ...

Crossing the void is Dangerous. The Crew are not getting sick -- without Doctor tests Crew are not getting treatment when they break limbs, receive head wounds, are punctured by meteors, crushed in bulkheads or accidentally ejected from an airlock.
Doing a full run up of a Void Engine and breaking atmo almost always results in at least one person on the crew getting hurt. A broken arm, an nasty gash a crushed toe. Many Crews consider lack of injuries bad luck. And that's just getting to space, where the real danger kicks in.
Medical technology is pretty advanced in ST2, and Crew trade immortality and riches for constant danger and grievous injury. Many people are injured every voyage, but the ship is safe enough not to kill them very often.
* There will be jobs focused on increasing safe ship operations (reduce, rather than doctor) * There will be upgrades focused on reducing crew damage (medical bay) * Void Reactor system "Ship Safety" will have a big impact * Ships with higher internal Shielding will protect crew from space dangers

Just want to add 'prosthetics' to the list of suggested trade goods if it's not already on there
