I had a crew with bonus skills of intimidate and negotiate, so I promoted them to officer and gave them a second job of Diplomat. Checking the personnel skills on the status page the Diplomat job skills were shown correctly in the left side column, but the bonus skills were not added to the right side column.
Where I had crew members that were already officers when the game started, their bonus skill was shown in the right side column.
It seems that when a crew is promoted to officer their bonus skill is not being shown active on the main status screen.

Any bug would not be related to left or right column. It would be about the specific skill. Which skill was not bonused?

The display is :
JOB (JOB+BONUS)
So if you have 2 Negotiate, and got 5 from your job it will show
5 (7)
Hope that helps clear it up.

Or you might report something like "Stealth doesn't display properly" but "right column does not display properly" is meaningless as the column a Skill ends up is only defined by how many skills have you. More skills, they change columns.

The second number actually has a plus sign before it, so you're example would show up as: 5(+7) I always thought the second number ment only my bonus, not job+bonus.

ChocoCrowbar - what device are you playing on? The Nexus? How are you seeing that? So odd. I only see "2 [4] Evasion" never seen a + there in my life, since I implemented this screen. Are you talking about the Detail screen for a single crew member, or the first screen in status, which summarizes the entire ship?

Yup, Nexus 5. And the + sign appears on the ship stats screen: I've noticed it varies greatly, but I assume the left number is what the crew has naturally, while the right side is the total job+(job+bonus) for all crew. This other one, the personal stats: Has what that person has naturally, and the right number is job+bonus. My captain at moment is the only one with Negotiate, the rest of my officers are lvl 2:

Hopefully we can make this all more clear in the next update! We're doing work in this area.

Wow that is some incredible skill bonuses. Skills are A tier, spec'd into Negotiate (6), Intimidate (6), Command (5), and Tactics (6). Starts as a merchant, ends up with Commander as a second job, and the third is split between diplomat for more negotiation/intimidate, or officer for a bit of pistol knowledge.

Very nice. That's a cool build. Never seen that before. So if we give XP priority E we can choose the Captains second job still? Thought that was a bug/mistake/loophole in previous version that had been fixed...

I get the pluses too: But, my word ChocoCrowbar, You have those glorious bonuses at turn 45?! Are you firing people whose traits turn out to not give skill bonuses, or something? fallen, when you make things clearer for us, can you explain what attributes are good for? The idea is to answer the question -- which Pilot do I fire since I have too many of them right now? Mr. 'I-have-10-points-better-than-you-do-in-abilities-total' vs Miss 'So-What-I-have-+2-in-tactics-as-a-trait'. Thank you.
