grävling - not sure, hard to say. Any idea how he got that way? The event that takes a crew member to 0 HP is responsible for death chance, unique trait mutation, deletion. We will keep an eye out for this.

Brand new captain. Crewman was in full health when I promoted him to officer and took my first one way shipping mission. We encountered nobody on the way, but I was failing doctor tests like crazy. We arrived, levelled up, and I went looking for him so that I could make him a doctor. He doesn't have any listed traits that say he has a extra chance of surviving death, but he is both Pain resistent and has +2 Fortitude. Made him a doctor. Healed him at the Doctor's office. Told him to stop holding Patrolling exercises in the Cargo Bay, as another crate might fall on him.  |

Seems like another case of zombie crew No, the zombie crew eventually fall off your ship. This guy is level 7 and happily officer in charge of the away team. (Indeed, the game as a whole may be more fun with On-Patrol being removed, but I think this guy personally is going to miss it.) |

Nope -- he won't miss it. If he's an officer he can be in charge of the away team -- totally up to the player for officers.
Are you just saying he has Job Level 1 Soldier? That's totally a thing.

No I just literally mean that the button is going away and the game is smart enough to know and make the right choices now. |
