I drew the +3 salvage components for the ship card.

.... to complete 34% to one of our ship's components ...

The thing is, I repaired the ship completely at the orbital before I went down here. I don't think it is possible for me to have done anything that would damage anything on my ship 34%. Certainly there are exploration cards that could do that, but I haven't drawn any of them. If I take a look at my ship, all the components read 0% damage on both decks.

Agreed. Those results in the card games are naive. They are reporting the best case scenario without checking atm.

So if the ship is not in need of repairs, would the result instead provide something like units of scrap or components?
