Just like STRPG, I bet it's a Log curve into infinity. You just gotta push it enough to get there.
Awesome.

It is extremely dependent on a number of things. First, you've got a HW Nav with 6 Nav skill (Job level 5). You're either rocking a very small ship with a small HW Drive, or you've installed a number of components that reduce Jump Cost. The next update will properly print these notes about HW drives and other components that have effects. This is currently invisible Either way, these Talents do need some adjustments after the latest round of reductions to Jump Cost. Will fix.

Guardian Interceptor on Basic difficulty. Had upgraded Jump Drive from initial 4 to 4E also had added Pilot and Navigation Assist 4s. My crew had a level 18 Navigator, 2 level 17 Navigators and a level 10 one plus my Officer who was a Navigator3/Smuggler5/Bounty Hunter2.

xdesperado - wow, impressive levels. Next release will show the bonuses you are getting from those Nav / Pilot assists which will help make it clear why it is so cheap. Did some rebalance across the whole stack.
