Bug: Explorer Ship Defense components currently say they protect crew. I assume it should be protecting ship components instead.- Bug: Hyperion Exo-Suits seems to be working to protect crew, but get damaged when used. I can see the damaged component on the deck map through the Status screen, but when I go to a Starport for repairs, this component does not show up. I can supply screenshots if needed.
- Bug: I was trying to complete an explore mission on a planet. It was my first time visiting the planet. I click the Mission! icon but none of the 5 cards were mission related. I went back to map and landed again but got the same thing. After I explored once, the mission card showed up properly.

athios - the bugs with the component descriptions are fixed for next. Any component actively used in Explorer / Blockade / Patrol / Spy gets damaged every time it is used. However, it sounds like you have the case of "disappearing components" which is going on in 1.0.23 but fixed for next. We're working to improve that issue with exploration not drawing the cards the first time. It's rare, but it does happen

More Exploration Bug(s) [played on my MacBook Pro, OSX 10.12.3, ST2 1.0.23] While accepting an exploring related mission, my crew was attacked twice, Xeno and some silly other party. I lost a total of 3 'on patrol' crew during the encounters. When I completed my mission, hopped over to another landing site on the planet to assess the crew loss, but all were accounted for (28/28 crew) when I tried to recruit. Apparently they are invincible. Here is a shot of them preparing for battle; lost the swordsman, pistoleer, and soldier in the back with the pistol. As mentioned, completed the mission, jumped over to the other landing site on the planet, paid everyone, doctored everyone, spiced everyone, then hit recruit: I just played through it, thought it might have been already a known issue, but... So I shortly ran into a contact that sold me some pretty cool armor, so I bought 5 of them, 4 for the 'on patrol' party and 1 for the captain. When updating their armor, clicking on a crew person's existing armor, it gave me a choice of their existing base armor (from the locker), or the new armor I just bought. I thought it strange that even tho I had 5 of them, there was no indication that there was more than 1 available of the new armor. I did outfit all 5, and when I tried a 6th person, the new armor wasn't an available choice. So technically, everything worked correctly, was just real confused, as there wasn't an indication that there were quantity 5 of the 'new armors' available

MintDragon - depending on your difficulty, the character's attributes, gears, and talents -- a final Death Save % is calculated. It is a number from 0 to 100. When a character is defeated in combat by HP damage, that a D100 is rolled and compared to your Death Save. Rolled under - you were knocked out of combat but survived. Rolled over, you died, dead. Except for, you have to check the Perma-Death rules on every difficulty, because they are a ramped up scale. On low difficulty, like Basic the Death Save starts at 80%, so you will feel pretty dang invulnerable. So, this is as expected as far as I can see. On the armor thing, it always helps us the most to stay organized to post bugs to their own thread. I've taken #3466 for this, but in the future we'd love it if you could make a thread per bug. We're happy to have more threads, because it makes them searchable by other people, findable by us, and reduces our bug management overhead. Thanks

Thx Hehehe, we need to explain things more Also, definitely when a character is knocked out of combat, the game needs to take a minute, pause, show the Death Save being rolled so you can chew on your finger nails, and then show the result. Surviving a Death Save will be a near guarantee of Trait mutation, so will you end up Scarred, Brave, or Crippled? Appreciate the new thread thing. I know its a pain.

A Death Save screen would be awesome and really help the immersion. Sorry about the combination of bugs, I was drifting off to sleep. Thought about it. Know better. My bad

Look in the "Crew" tab on Combat Resolution screen to see if anyone actually DIED permanently or if they bounced.

I fixed the bug that was in the quote I put in my post. It had a number, but that number doesn't seem to be mentioned here.
Great example why 5 bug reports that aren't related in a single thread leads to us being unable to help.
Thanks to everyone posting your own thread for your bug instead of piggy-backing onto a random thread!
Don't think there is anything else we can do here, locking.
