Was able to copy/paste into Excel; so for semi-current brain tossing-ness, one could sort through the info as preferred. Presumably with Google's version as well. As they are just HTML tables, they should copy-n-paste very well.

ok. better phrasing -- let me know when you can hand me a thing to make a whole lot of fixes at once, instead of doing them piecemeal, with you having to do the doing.

Agreed the Wiki can be great to stop the small cuts and just make it a one-and-done project. With that in mind, let's put traits off a little bit until more of them are implemented and described.

Fixed incorrect Captain table.
Gotta find the way to get those 3 tables to show side by side.

You could add another top level Row for the three categories, then export the values into side-by-side columns underneath... I'll leave the scripting magic to you, lol~

The "Ill-Tempered" trait gets a +2, even though it is a bad trait. Is that a typo, or intentional?

I am working on some new exports tonight as we prep for a release. The Traits table is now sortable from the headers: startraders.gamepedia.com/TraitsStart Ship List incoming

Looks like semantic-mediawiki, which is part of what gamepedia supports, is designed to let you do queries of data and display them as tables, so 'comparing two ships, side by side' ought to be simple. www.semantic-mediawiki.org/wiki/Help:Result_formats After killing a few more pirates, I shall start playing around with this.

grävling - interesting stuff. I know that Gamepedia is built on MediaWiki, not sure it is compliant with the semantic standard. I'm working with one of their team members on import tooling, so I will ask about this.

And this is also of interest, it is an mediawiki alternative to do some things you can also do with the semantic media wiki, apparantly written by the same guy as wrote the book I bought. www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Extension:CargoThis seems to mean that if you can get your data into a postgresql (or mysql, but I find postgresql infinitely easier to work with, so unless you already know mysql, I recommend postgresql) db, you can use cargo to get it out again into a wiki, dirt cheap.
