In my game there are currently 3 Trade Wars and 1 Trade Ban ongoing, some of which have been going for more than 1.5 years, so I had some questions.
"Conflict Faction" below refers to one of the two Factions involved in the Trade War.
1. Why do Trade War rep penalties apply to selling to a Conflict Faction, but buying from them is okay?
2. Do rep penalties only apply to goods originally manufactured by a Conflict Faction?
3. If yes, do rep penalties apply if I sell a Conflict Faction-made good at a 3rd-party settlement (not involved in the War)? I imagine each Faction will have agents operating on most planets...
4. What are the rep consequences for Smugglers when selling goods against a Trade War, assuming no shortage rumor?
5. Not related, but does the Central Database that keeps track of all transactions from STRPG still exist in ST2 universe?
So I've tried Trader and Explorer. I think I'll try a Smuggler captain next.
