So my current Captain a Spy/Commander/Military Officer has been doing extensive upgrading on his Guardian Interceptor with final goal to have it set up as a Pirate Hunter/Mission Courier ship. Have weapons mostly set at this point and nearing the point where little more can be upgraded/changed without major sacrifices being made. Thing is I have 1 small size area I can play with and not sure what the best option for it is. www.dropbox.com/s/kahmc0sypbytko4/20170217_230351.jpg?dl=0As you can see most of my Soaks are covered with Gunnery being the sole exception due to my replacing one of my Cargo Bays with a Retribution Gravcannon. I have 2 spaces for extra crew however so can hire a Gunner to cover that shortfall and be good with no further changes at moment. However I have a Cloudstrike Lance that I'm inclined to replace as only way I can fire both it and the Retribution Gravcannon at same time is if I either use a very short buff from my mechanics or forego any attempt at manuevering/boarding.

Your plan is to go fast in for boarding, or to shoot them mostly to bits from long range?
EDIT: either way, I think you would be a whole lot happier with better Pilot numbers.
