Perhaps move the description to the bottom of the right hand side area. I only need to read that once. I don't want to scroll down to sell every time. Maybe expand the exchange screen more towards the top. More browsing area would be nice on small screens. goo.gl/photos/6zL4NQKq7KHKkbzh7Edit: BTW the new exchange screen looks great!

Kanly - thanks for the feedback. We'll definitely keep working on improving. We have discussed moving the description down. Also, all the descriptions are a bit longer than we want them to be right now, but maybe moving them would help reduce the need to trim them too much, and leave that deliciously written character in there. We'll try to get the screen to take up more of the vertical space, but there are always challenges with how a UI is built.

They are great But, in some regard, its a good thing to recognize them as secondary to the primary UI function (purchase button) and remember that we have some really small screens

I think the 'this gives you a better sense of what the whole universe is like' is important, as well. Cultural transmission is hard. Plus we need to find a way to get spice and vudka trading past the 'pg-13 rating', while retaining the game we love. I think that will take considerable ingenuity. Good thing that is not in short supply around here.

Just want to be clear about that.

ST RPG has an acceptable rating and includes "Vudka" and "Spice" under the coding these are occasional references to non-specific alcohol or tobacco products without depiction of use.
Like I said on Twitch, the biggest obvious change we'll be making is finding a better way to name "Narcotic Spice" without making it super generic like "Concentrated Spice"

Gotta love the ratings Nazi's Go ahead and have graphic blood and gore and it's fine but even hint about alcohol, sex or drugs and it's instant M+ rating for you. Steam ratings/censorship is even more hilarious. By the better make sure they know that "entertainment" in the Spice Hall consists of non denominational church services and group sing alongs and definitely isn't meant to cover anything as nasty as casinos, stripclubs etc. Sorry the subject just pushes my buttons mainly because of how dumb and badly implemented the systems are.

group sing alongs ... absolutely what "Entertainment" is supposed to mean.

Back to exchange screen suggestions. In addition to what Kanly said -- yes, controls on the top -- I would like a way to sort the goods for sale, not based on their ABCDE rating, either from A to Z, but sorted by how much they cost per unit, in absolute terms. Sometimes I can only afford the cheaper things, and sometimes I only want the more expensive ones.

It would be nice to see what the Legal and Permit requirements are for each resource in their descriptions rather than the generic (paraphrased) "This needs a permit to buy/sell" or "It is illegal to buy/sell this item" after the item is clicked. If I know that I've no permit or a permit level too low and it is illegal, then I can just pass the resource up. Perhaps all this to be one of the sorting criteria as grävling has suggested. I tried to sell Basic Medicines at an exchange yesterday and found that it was illegal to sell. By the way gr ävling, since we are on the subject of pronunciation, the word is spelled "exchange". The first syllable is pronounced as an "x" not "s". Sometimes, phonetic spelling is not exactly accurate.

Correct, but that was not actually a pronunciation problem. That was 's' and 'x' are right beside each other on my keyboard... Fixed now. Thank you. Now, about the exchange listing: This isn't already doing what you want? You are unhappy because you wanted to unload some Basic Medicines and you had a sufficient permit and they wouldn't let you sell it anyway? In addition to being permit restricted, some places ban the trade of certain items outright, no matter how good your permit. I'm not sure how we should display this.

@earthsuit did you like that last post because I showed you a picture of it doing exactly as you wanted (so you just need to get the new version of the game) or because I understood your problem and restated it properly without typos or ....
