It may make sense, but if we are going to get an officer filter, I would very much like it if this went back to the way it was before. Now, of course, it is a quicker way to find your officers.

Not sure that would be helpful because the filter is showing you people who will be available for fighting in boarding attacks or defense. Officers are always in that list. |

When you already know that you don't want any officers out doing that duty, unless they also happen to be soliders, pistoleers or swordsmen, it's nice to be able to 'look at your fighters' and see, at a glance, yep, 4 or more warm bodies, we are ok for fighting staff. When later you end up sending one of your more irreplaceable officers out the airlock because you didn't see that so and so was a *gunner* and not somebody you consider a fighter, you feel bad.
