So many possibilities Perma Knights. Will they be unique and have their own special abilities? Like once a day this person calls a sniper shot or taxi kinda thing. Pets. Just hunds,or more? Can they be upgraded with accessories? Like collars with bonuses and cyberware. Drones. Can you get hardware and software to make them better? Hack/upgrade them with tech skills? So much to think about.

Knights -- Some of them will be unique. Probably increasingly so as we extend the game. There is no boundary for classes, so we could easily create custom character classes (and associated bonuses) that only existed for particular Knights.
Pets -- Hunds for now because we know clearly how they fit into the CK storyline. One of the things we need to accomplish in the next six months of CK work is to build the tightly wound overlapping world storyline that ST has but CK does not. We won't introduce anything to the game for the sake of combat or updates without fully exploring the meaning against the backdrop of the dark cyberpunk world we are trying to build.
Drones -- there will be a particular character class (and possible story mode) and cyberware requirement for operation of them. Electronics and Hacking will be critical. Drones will be a big part of the crafting and combing system in CK.

Sounds like the council has its work cut out. World building? Well I started late here but from what I gather the ocean is screwed with several feet of its surface coverd in a corrosive black sludge. North america...and I'll have to guess the whole world lives in domes because of air pollution/sun radiation? NBZ gets supplies from other areas via submarine system?,and rarely overland transport? Hmmm I'm gonna have to search the threads on my tiny slow phone for more info before I keep going with my thoughts... ;D

Those are all true!
The fact remains tho, at this point, I could not sit down and discuss CK in the same way I can ST.

I can't find the sniper I kitted out with 20k worth of gear? Team manager only shows me deceased runners & clicking on my runner available for hire does nothing

I propose that the idea of Cyber Knights came from this verse:
Most people live dejectedly in worldly sorrow and joy; they are the ones who sit along the wall and do not join in the dance. The knights of infinity are dancers and possess elevation. They make the movements upward, and fall down again; and this too is no mean pastime, nor ungraceful to behold. But whenever they fall down they are not able at once to assume the posture, they vacillate an instant, and this vacillation shows that after all they are strangers in the world. This is more or less strikingly evident in proportion to the art they possess, but even the most artistic knights cannot altogether conceal this vacillation. One need not look at them when they are up in the air, but only the instant they touch or have touched the ground–then one recognizes them. But to be able to fall down in such a way that the same second it looks as if one were standing and walking, to transform the leap of life into a walk, absolutely to express the sublime in the pedestrian–that only the knight of faith can do–and this is the one and only prodigy. Maybe you found a bug then, you can post it in bug section so Cory can find it faster...though he will find it here eventually to. @bg some nice philosophy/poetry thingy you posted,it does kinda fit.

We won't introduce anything to the game for the sake of combat or updates without fully exploring the meaning against the backdrop of the dark cyberpunk world we are trying to build. So long as I get to write a story/quest line that gives a knight a pair of cybernetic warpoodles that can be obtained in no other way. They will have limited combat uses...distraction of humans, and special bonuses in using drones as chew toys. All dogs, hunds included, should have special territory marking abilities.
