So what is this $72? 'Spacers' Surcharge' -- a fee levied on Star Trader Crews due to past experiences with large, rowdy parties? A Hotel tax? What determines how large a number that is? And shouldn't it be 0 in the case of a party that just isn't going to happen?

grävling - that is a small number (1-3) multiplied by your crew count. That is their shore leave pittance. More luxurious Spice Halls, you've got to give them more Credits. Yes, the screen is obviously alpha UI. It is not perfect

But is that number a surcharge, you have to pay whenever you spice up anyone? or the total price of all the ones you want to get spiced? or? alpha ui is one thing, but 'can I afford to do this' is something I need to know ...
bankrupcy looms, just got my ship mauled ....

It isn't a "surcharge" it is the price of taking the crew to the spice hall.
Call it a "Cover Charge"

Working correctly? Whenever you take the entire crew to the spice hall, they all get some leave money. If you are spending another few days on the planet, what do you expect them to do? You're taking time to dote on one crew member, and locking the rest in the ship's cargo hold? If you don't want the rest of the crew's Morale to plummet while you dote on a few crew members with extra credits, then you have to pay them a some shore leave money and send them off to the Spice Hall. We could make this optional and cause Morale Damage to every crew member not shown on the table, but I don't think its an option we should add.

I am not complaining about the behaviour, I am complaining about how it is described, or rather isn't, that is all.
