Does anyone know what's required for an introduction? I have 66 rep with a politician and it just says "no introduction available" despite two people this politician's linked with (and both are positive). Feels bad, yo.  |

And you don't already know those Contacts? Is there a Rumor or Conflict involved?

If you picked contact as A or B, or have stocked up on contact-finding traits, or just explore like crazy and get the 'find a contact card' a lot -- you may find that the only contacts your politician knows are people you already know.

And you don't already know those Contacts? Is there a Rumor or Conflict involved? There's a trade ban active. I believe that's it. It just says no contacts available when I select Introductions. Officer Genious - did you have 10,000 creds on hand when you asked for an intro? I had double that, so yes.  |

Officer Genious - sorry, its impossible to debug without details! 1) Who is the contact linked with? 2) What types of contacts are they? 4) what is the exact link score displayed in the UI? 5) Exactly how much $$$ do you have? 6) What is your Rep with the contact? 7) what is the contact's influence?

I've had more than one from a single person. But my explorer captains tend to find that their starting choices in Contacts only know about other people they have already found out about by the time I want to spend money on more contacts, instead of more weapons locker.

Introductions are based on Contact Links.
In upcoming release, they will also be able to intro local contacts.

The Trader talent (big sale something?) is really effective at getting more Contacts once you have a Level 2 trade permit. I didn't notice at first, but after a few substantial trades, I found about 8 extra Contacts on my list within ~3 months.
