[1.0.25] Spy: Sly Trait triggered on Influence Conflict?

I just landed an Influence Conflict card while spying for a mission.
"Our actions have added +10 Conflict Score for Cadar Syndicate in their Trade War with Clan Zenrin."
"We have gained 1 Rep with Cadar Syndicate."
"Darius Goldbeze's Sly Trait increased Data rewards by 25%."

Is this a bug, or it actually increases Conflict Score by 25%? I'm not entirely sure what that means, actually.

Separate question, since neither of these Factions are the one that gave me the initial mission (nor my own Faction), does the Influence Conflict card just randomly choose a side?

I know that spying and blockading work against the local Faction, while Patrolling aids them

Took #3488 to fix the issue where Sly came up incorrectly.

I've had missions to spy and patrol someplace on behalf of a faction my faction has an alliance with when a war is on.

Thought that was working as intended. no?

grävling - yes, that's grand.

But, the bug report is that Sly says it increases Data Rewards.

But then, it pops up when you influence a Conflict.

Which is not a data reward
