You probably already have this on your to-do list. Could an auto center toggle button be added to the quadrant map. Just a button with a ship in it or something.
Maybe I'm using my mouse to drag around the Rhein-Rhur Quadrant to study the planets on the map map at various zoom levels. Damn! Where did I leave my ship?
When auto navigating to a location, or when the ship is in flight could the same button be used to center the view on the ship as it moves? This really helps to keep track of it
at different zoom levels.
I find when the ship starts moving out of my view, there is a ship encounter and I don't know where I am just before it happened.
