Contact Abilities

Haven't checked all of the different contact types yet but know several of them have a discrepancy between what actions the Known details say they can perform and the actual actions/services they provide.

As the pic shows this Military Commander has following under known details.
Offers Missions, Faction Rank, Special Recruits, Special Gear.

As you can see he does not actually have any Special Gear to sell, at least not at this point in Alpha.
Also the Known details doesn't list his ability to grant Pardons.

Not sure if all contacts will be able to give Introductions, if so then that doesn't need to be listed.

Having the Known details listing be correct is important when looking at your contacts listings on Quadrant/Galaxy map.
If I'm looking for a specific type of contact action then I need an accurate listing of offerings to go off of.

We track all of these down and make sure there are no lies or omissions after fallen and Cory Trese say that they are done putting the initial version of all of this stuff in the game. Before then, discrepencies between 'where the UI is' and 'where the game really is' are inevitable, and healthy. In the meantime, just pretend that you have travelled all across the Galaxy to meet with somebody-or-other just to find out that he is currently out of town, on vacation, in the hospital, or at the 'falling down' stage of intoxication or inebriation when you come visiting.
