Hi cory,I try to explain this bug in various points, maybe i'll be more understandble...=)
-Bought a Scout Carbomag -Equipped,used,all ok(I bring 2 weapons together) -Bought some Auto Rounds(ehm,130+ precisely ^_^) when the default Ammos were finished -So,there are Ammos, but with the weapon equipped the Combat HUD says 0 Ammos -If I try to reload in combat, nothing happens(First weapon reloads, not the Carbomag as second,it continues to say 0) -If I try to use the Rifle, the message is the following "Weapon #2 Ammo Exhausted(pistol)" <--???Not Auto?!?!?!? -If I try to unequip then equip the rifle, nothing changes -Curious Thing: If I unequip both weapons then I equip reversely(Scout Carbomag was Weapon #2,now #1)(I've done this in combat,I don't know if It works normally) the HUD continues to say the same thing(in my situation #1: 5,#2: 0),but now if I reload the Weapon #2(a Raptor II),It has the recharge...and the Scout fires XD And then the reload works(I tested this, using all the Ammos then trying to reload) XD So,I solved the problem, but surely a Bug occurred...=)
Samsung Galaxy Mini Droid 2.2(not rooted, obviously)
PS:Cory, 0.6.x Versions ROCK!!!! I love the backrooms, love the changes in 0.6.1,love the Runners(I also discovered that they can gain XP to own Stats/Skills!!,great TB!!!...I Lost all three I hired ehm...XDXD)...I wait for Hacker Jobs...And a Story ^_^ U are too good creating games...=) an OT(but useful) question: Everytime u update the game, can I update my review???If yes,Does It help??

Cory, was that bug related to that weird duplicate scout carbomag/light carbomag I found under the other bugthread?

LJHalfbreed(a different abbreviation name?,too complex to write for me =P) -mmm,I honestly don't remember where i bought the rifle, btw it's the Scout Carbomag version =) -I don't think they are related, this is more a ammo bug...=) And it's fixable if u read my post(even if this is a bug,so it can reappear...^_^)

weapon type 8 (auto loading rifles) when equipped in weapon slot #2 do not reload correctly.
there are many "duplicate" items they represent different qualities or instances of the item.
That is just how CK is going to work. Carbo Mag is a DESIGN, not an object. Many instances (both good and bad) of the Carbo Mag will exist, and then from those design instances game instances will be created.
You could own a high quality nano-fab Carbo Mag and a hand made street version of the same rifle. Same name, different statistics and descriptions.
Not a bug. A feature I spent DAYS coding

Yes,I've already understood this...I used "version" for this reason =) So it's as I tought, the bug is on Ammos, not on the rifle...=) Good info

A feature I spent DAYS coding What I'm saying is that currently, the two items have the same exact descriptions and stats, just different names. Is it just coincidence that the random generator gave them the same stats and description? (I'd take a screenshot, but i'm afraid I don't know how on a Droid3)

Having the same items of various quality is cool as you discover the differences in the shops is good, but having it in the same shop where the only diff is the name will just have people go "huh?".
In the mars shop in fenns you have scout carbomag and light carbomag.....same exact weapon, same price...only diff is the name.
Though out of the visitable shops its the only case I have seen.

What @gravis said... I've no problem with lego loot (loot with same base item, but with stackable modifiers, such as a 'rusty shotgun' compared to a later-game 'Flaming Sparking Platinum Shotgun of Vampiric Suffering and Mana Swelling'... you know, like Diablo and Borderlands and similar.) I just thought it to be strange and buglike to have two items in the same exact shop, with the same exact stats and the same exact description, but two different names. Perhaps you can nudge the stats of one to better reflect the differences, and not make it look like a glitch?

These guns are now resolved and differentiated, described differently.
