I don't understand. That button returns to the map. Can you redescribe the bug in simple terms? Is it a joke I don't understand again?

I think the word map implies seeing the galactic map, or a map where one doesn't move but see a map to plan one's movement.
Like the map from STRPG where you can see faction territory and stuff.
That button works the same way as the versions before it, where it brings you to the overworld map where you can move.
I see no problem. I was just imagining what could have happened with my previous definition.

Sounds like utterly undesirable behaviour to me. I absolutely have to be able to read my maps while I am on the ground, without going into orbit. So I thought it was an oversight.

Then I need a different sort of map button so I can look at such things while I am making my mind whether to take a job.
You want me to go where? But that's a Rychart Quadrant, and they all want my head on a stick!

Pretty sure the issue # is tagged to your thread too  |

Nope, that map button is exactly the same as the Map button in the last release. It means "go to map" just like orbit means "go to orbit" |
