I'm not sure how "humorous" this is but made ma laugh and smile.
So got a fresh new crew lvl 16.
Tried something different with Xeno Hunter(6), Soldier(5), Combat Medic(5) who prefers position #2 and I equipped a shotgun.
First time I had Backline Leader, Rallying Order, Ferocity, Vaccination Watch all on before her first attack.
Roaring Barrels and Boom...My first 1-shot kill.
2nd Round Burst Fire and...My first double kill.
YA...fun observations of a boom stick.

I assume your captain only carries a stake. I wanted to make a Xeno Hunter and the name sounded right. However she is a LMG, backline captain. Angel is my frontline Swordsman Xander carries the Bahamut Willow is the Doctor/CM/Pistoleer Giles and Wesley are the non-combat officers. |

I am extremely amused that on the latest run I started, every single one of my pilots (and one navigator) is drunk.
That must have been one helluva party! Now if, for the love of god, we can undock without hitting anything....

I happened to acquire two traitorous contacts from the two main warring factions. now I just do missions in reciprocal fashion for them and don't suffer damaging rep loss.

I sometimes carry around one unit of biomass in stead of an empty hold just because I get a laugh out of doing this. When surrendering to a pirate: "Biomass: Our enemies confiscated 1 units from our hold, which originally cost us $7"
I like to think of them as the deep space latrine cleaning service.
"Sorry, we don't have any valuable cargo you can steal, but you can have this turd."
