You are sending me on a mission to your closest neighbouring planet, but I only need to get the mission accomplished in nearly 3 years?! You must know more about the bureacracy in that place than I do.

On the left we have a wilderness area stash. My contact is paying me 100K to scour the quadrants for raw spice and stick it into a hole there. To the right we have a spice festival. I keep thinking there has got to be a way to get the spice out of the festival and into the hole, but there doesn't seem to be one. Be nice if I could meet with one of the spice merchants and buy a cargo bay's worth of spice from him or her ...

I think they are paying you to put it into the hole so someone else can dig it up, refine it in the zone and keep the party going. It actually makes a lot of sense.

No screencap, but wow, were steel song upset when their 1200+ native cap decided that torture was immoral and broke that guy out of prison. -1400+ upset. Thank goodness for coalition pardons!

Weird when you pay your crew and it causes one of them to mutate Battle Scarred. Did they get in a knife fight with a bunch of gravs in the spice hall or something?

If your QM is a Brute they gather everyone in the Spice Hall and then just throw the whole ship's wages up into the air and a battle royale ensues as everyone tries to collect their cut.

I think that anybody who is so exhilarated by travel and new experiences should be immune to becoming 'worldsick'. (I'm not worldsick, really, this is just a very bad hangover!)

In a way it kind of makes sense grävling. They get so bored quickly and their sense of adventure kicks in. They go off to find new worlds, have fun, make friends, but after that initial high drops, time to go find another.

Aha, but then it is not 'the loneliness of space' and insecurity that is getting to them. This is 'I hate planets!', or maybe 'I hate the Star Trader zones on inhabited planets!' a different problem. (which might go away when you return to space).

now that I'm home and have a larger screen to see, I notice the last name of the spacer. The problem is they want to go tomb raiding

"You did WHAT in Shalun's tomb!?" "Come on, it's not like he'll be missing that hat."

What is Cpt. Pepe's favourite tactic?
Barrel-roll.

*rychart intensifies*
the most rychart place its been like that for over 100 years. contacts come and go, but everytime someone leaves this station, his/her spot is instantly taken by new contact.

See, we wouldn't have this problem on Steel Song. Everyone would be dead in a public battle royale.
That moment you finally get that big-ass ship and realize it takes half your fuel to hyperwarp jump... ;_;
