I had shut the game down for a bit. (Ok, I had to fold some laundry. Give a guy a break.) I opened the game and launched my only captain. I was in the main map hovering over a planet. I had landed here before and had made contact with one of my, uh, contacts. This time however, when I clicked the planet to go into orbit, the game CTD. I added some details to the error report, but I didn't send it as I wanted to see if it was repeatable and include that in the report.
So, I opened the game again, launched the captain again, and etc. The game CTD. Now, I've got two error report dialogs open. I clicked cancel on the most recent one and sent the first one saying it was repeatable. But instead of the game being closed down, it somehow reopen and I was in orbit. ?? No, it was not minimized.
I shut the game down from the menu, opened it, and attempted to go into orbit again. No problems.
Fluke? One off?

Next time send both of them. Cory Trese can always toss information he doesn't need. There are lots of weird states that the game should never get into that a reload of some sort will fix.

Sending the crash report is the most valuable thing you can do in that situation. Thank you!
