Planet landing button missing

Cannot complete second stop of Diplomatic mission.
1. Image 1 I have a neutral rep

2. Image 2 I'm at the right target location

3. Image 3 "Land" button is missing, cannot land on planet to complete this phase of mission.

Comment:  I flew to a nearby Javat planet, and the landing button was displayed, I put in for repairs
then flew back to target planet. Landing button still missing.

I thought at last, this will be easy!  I immediately loaded up the captain after reading your message.

Unfortunately nothing in rumors (screen empty), or captains log. I even have a couple crew that can hear rumors in spice dens.

Great advice on the quarantine planets, that could be a mission killer, wonder how long it takes to end one?
But I currently have no evidence there is a quarantine on the mission planet.

Would be cool if there was some kind of message when you arrive in orbit.
Sort of like sci-fi movies or books. Communications would contact the ship and let them know not to land?

I'm trying to remember if there is one. Can you post a screenshot of the planet orbit view of the place where you want to land? I want the whole thing, not extracts. If there is one, I am pretty sure I will recognise it.

When there is a quarantine, there will be a one-line message near the bottom of the screen in orbit view. Should be fairly obvious.

This finally appeared in the scrolling text box.  I think reloading so many times finally triggered a rumor.
  
I don't deny being crazy,  but some of my most accurate observations have been revealed while banging my head on the padded walls in my holding cell. 

The scrolling message box was empty on multiple reloads last night!  Despite the straight jacket you gotta believe me on this one.

The scrolling text box was empty in previous game launches, now contains this message.



grävling thanks for not giving up  on the thorny HP problem thread and helping me solve this one,  originally pointing me in the quarantine direction.

@ahtios Thanks for comfirming it. I do have a follow up question for athios  top of image 2.

I'm still a little confused. Did you mean the large scrolling text box in the bottom right of the screen where it is displayed on this screen snap?
This box was empty until this morning  I loaded one more time after reading your message.
(I lost count, last night I reloaded this game 5 maybe 7 times before the rumor appeared this morning)
  
Is there another screen location you have seen the one-line message?  If it was supposed to appear somewhere else then I really need to know where
I should have seen it.  Thanks I appreciate all your help.

John Robinson - Hmm... I don't remember for sure. I've only seen a quarantined planet once. My impression is the text was just under the box that says "Standard Radiation World, 7 Atmo (Dense)"

That was on a previous release though, so maybe UI has changed? Or maybe it's a case of things getting cut off due to screen resolution?
