Is there a downside to having a mixed faction crew? I seem to recall talk of mixed faction crew impacting morale.

Traits can have an effect here; if you have a crew member that has a Trait for hating a certain Faction such as Cadar and you have Cader on the crew then that would affect the morale of the Trait holder.

Is there a downside to having a mixed faction crew? I seem to recall talk of mixed faction crew impacting morale. After a dreadful recent battle which killed 3 pilots of mine, putting us well within the 'need to make saving throws for being understaffed' range, I hired 2 on the next planet we landed, which happened to be owned by Thulun. We are a Rychart ship. They were miserable. Morale always needing cheering up at the spice house. When I next made it to a Rychart planet with pilots, I bid the sad souls from Thulun goodbye, as they were costing me a fortune, and hired some more Rychart pilots. |
