This is me, the captain. I don't know a single thing about doctoring. But I have a combat medic officer who knows something about it -- 5 points worth. And my doctor officer knows 6 points worth. 0 + 5 + 6 = 11. So the pool looks correct. But it is time for the doctor to go up a job. And I find this screen misleading. I would dearly love to get +6 doctor +4 command more. But of course when I do so I get: which means what I really got added was 1 point of doctor and 0 points of command. That's the information I wish I could have on the screen, so I don't have to work it out. It's ok to tell you what the totals are going to be, though as you see the total on the screen was +6 doctor, and what the real total the char has is 7. I think because he started life out with 1 point of doctor, but I am not sure about that. In any case, what I really want to know at level up time is 'what is the delta'. Take doctor and get 1 more point of doctor. Take Hyperwarp Nav and get -- I dunno, but he already has 2 points of tactics and 4 of Navigation, so ...

Sorry it is confusing. Feels really important to print the full details of the job on that screen.
If you showed a screenshot that included the right hand side, the numbers for the next job level are printed there. Not sure why you skipped that one?

fallen ha ha! Because I had no idea it did that! Okay, the look between one and the other is not a hard calculation to make. Me, I was needing to keep track of it all on paper .... Still think that when it is time to go up you want ot be told that this adv will give you <the delta>.
