It would be useful if instead of saying 'Using Map named Map with 15 quadrants' it would say 'Using Map #37 with 10 quadrants' instead ...

It is good right now, just that map names are bad. We cannot go back and unfix that UI for the sake of unfinished map naming.
We'll get there ASAP!!!
