@brownknight - I posted this answer as well on Steam. +HP, +MP, and +Res were all being ignored for weapons, because by authoring rule they should not have these bonuses. However, shields are weapons, so there is a bug, now fixed for next.

I haven't seen any crafting results on a better staff for Kjartan. I'm halfway through EP2, and still having to use Rimwood Staff, which is making KJ nearly useless. I've found other staves, but most were mundane or did less damage than Rimwood. Any help would be appreciated.

That will definitely make Kjartan useless

Haven't found a staff that will add fire damage, just small (6) lightning damage addition which is worthless now since all enemy can completely resist small elemental. So need to craft a decent staff (or other spell assist weapon?) for more fire damage to help immolation and firestorm. If there is a weapon that would add spell physical damage, that would be useful too.

@oldschoolgamer - no, you are correct -- what you are seeking is a magical staff with +Fire Dmg, or stacking enough elemental damage of another type to overcome resistances.

So, anybody craft a decent staff for a immolation/firestorm Kjartan?

For example I crafted a good staff for Vincent in EP1 and still using 3/4 the way through EP2: Walking staff 2AP, 2 acc, 2 par, 7-12 dmg, +40 SP, +38 lightning damage, 2% SP drain. Any other good crafted staffs? Does character level or where crafted effect outcome? Any better staffs than walking staff for crafting?

That is an amazing staff for that early. The issue with staves later on is that they are not mundane, so there is no opportunity to craft them. This is not a big deal however as they tend to be over the top good, especially in episode 4. I would imagine your staff would be best for raw damage till then though.

It is on our list to add mundane staves to shops, but haven't done it yet.

Just bought the 1AP Throwing Knives 5 Acc 2 Parry (12-31 at 3 Range) in the Red Hill Siege Camp after clearing Ep1. Crafted them with the Firebrand Ring +6 Fire Dmg +16 Fire Resist because I'm running Burning Blades on Kjartan and wanted to stack some more fire dmg. Here's what I got:
1AP Throwing Knives 6Acc 2Parry 15-34 dmg at range 3, +10 Fire Dmg, 2% Crit, +32% Crit Dmg, +4 Parry, +4 Dodge. Woohoo!!!!! Needless to say, I'm happy! :-) If it would have added a little Stealth I may have passed out from sheer ecstasy..... Ep2 is going to get LIT the f%$# UP!!!

I know! When I saw that 4 Parry and 4 Dodge pop up I was shocked. How awesome is that?! Who needs armor when you can get that on one, ONE mind you, weapon. Tamilin still has her bow adding 4 Stealth. I haven't crafted any armor for her because I'm afraid to lose the Evasion/Stealth that comes with it. Is that still a legitimate concern or did you change that?

Sometimes stats go down. I don't know any cases where the values go to 0 from a big number like 4. If anyone does, I'd consider that a bug and fix it. I believe the negative reaction is all about the loss of 2 Evasion points here or 2 Stealth there, etc. Notably, sometimes you gain +2 Evasion or +2 Stealth.

I just crafted the Armored Overcoat (Stealth) {28 Armor 2Evasion 1 Stealth } with the Fiery Eye Necklace +6 Fire Dmg +2 Crit +2% Crit Dmg and got the Armored Overcoat (Stealth) with the same 2 Evasion 1 Stealth and 40HP 8 Fire dmg, +4 Parry and +2 Dodge. I was actually hoping for the crit to carry over but I also wanted more fire so I took a chance on including them both in the tuner. Very pleased with the added Parry/Dodge but it wasn't what I was looking for. I didn't lose the Stealth or Evasion but they didn't go up either. I may have to stick with my 16 Armor with 3 Evasion and 4 Stealth for now...although that extra dodge and parry would probably help me survive the occasional loss on the stealth check....we'll see how it goes.
I now tried the Bandit's Garb (Stealth) {16 Armor 3 Evasion 4 Stealth} and tuned it with Drops of Blood (Boots) { +6 Dmg 4% SP Drain}. That gave me Bandit's Garb (Stealth) {Same 16 Armor, 3 Evasion, 4 Stealth PLUS 50HP, 40SP, and 2% SP Drain}. I wanted some more SP drain to fuel Tamilin. She's the only one of my four who runs out of SP so the extra 40SP and the drain will definitely help that. I probably "wasted" a couple of Bloodstones by crafting two similar sets of armor at this point but....I wanted to find out what I could get for the next time through. I notice this 2nd set isn't included in the table on page three of this thread so if someone wants to add it, that would be great. Thanks....

dagger - great crafting results! As expected, Stealth and Evasion stayed stable It got a very bad rap from early bugs in the crafting system that have been resolved as far as I can tell. That said, it can always increase or decrease by a small amount.
