Dropped a couple thousand credits and got things sort of back in order here, still need a good Pilot, holding an Officer bed for one.

Any thoughts of leaving the icons there (good or bad situation), but changing from blue or green to orange-ish with the angry arrow?

fallen Nice solution to so many things, and its eye candy - you guys rock It does raise a couple of questions though. What are the trigger thresholds for low health and low morale indicators please? You explained in a previous thread that when a crew member reaches 20 morale they become ineffective and start to look for a career change. Is the trigger threshold higher than 20 to give us warning of impending problems (so we have time to fix them) or is it also set at 20 morale?

Thanks all! bobc - if you hover or click on the warning list, you get the full explanation, which will tell you that it is 60 HP and 50 Morale -- these are the same values that cause warning indicators on the Crew List.

Definitely down the road, but I envision a number of 'events' triggering change in the warning lights (positive or negative). When this happens, a temporary green up arrow or red down arrow could appear, giving visual feedback on results of a given action.
Really good job on the HUD warning lights guys, addresses a number of head-scratchers I'd been thinking about.

But it doesn't tell you how damaged your ship is. How is that going to be handled?

But it doesn't tell you how damaged your ship is. How is that going to be handled? There is a hull indicator on the main map....

Which is fine when you want to know how smashed up your hull is. I recently discovered that I had 2 officer's cabins which needed 60+% repairs, and a cargo bay just hanging in there with 52% damage ....
It's a neat problem. Not only do I want to know how smashed up, in general, the beast is, but I also want to know if any particular components are near failure.
Sort of like the crew. I want to know, in general, if they are getting unhappy, but I really want to know if 4 guys are on the edge of mutiny ....

If it isn't already handled, it won't be hard to add. Components are way less complex than a Crew.

The only missing indicator that is required atm is # of Components that are more than 60% dmg. Hoping to get it in before the update, definitely!
