Killing Xenos in 0.29

Minor rep lost for blowing up xenos ?? Blow them up anyway!



Thought not, everybody loves us. But whom did we gain the rep with? I would think that everybody would enjoy this news, but whoever is the House/Clan that owns this quadrant (de Valtos) would be especially pleased.

But what happens if we loot them? Let's be a bit more gentle with the next Xeno and not destroy the hull, shall we?

Ow! Here we lost rep. But again, with whom? If all the Xenos in the universe want my head on a stick, I am not worried. The feeling is mutual. If, however, de Valtos doesn't want me cleaning up the Xenos in their infested Zone, then I want to have a few unprintable words with them.

Also, the display seems odd. It's you lost rep, then what you looted for that made you lose it, again you lost rep, and next (off the screen) what you looted that made you lose it. It's more usual to write that as You looted X, and then you lost rep (for looting X), You looted Y and then you lost rep (for looting Y)

Took #3554 to improve victory with specialized messages for xeno.

Really, not going to get there until xeno are actually implemented.

So, maybe you're losing rep with the Xenos which, as gravling noted, does not seem to be a problem for most players. It may be like losing rep with independents, no one tracks it so it doesn't really affect you.
