I found an Indy Orbital Station with... ... 0 Economy ... 0 Starport ... 5 Military ... 7 Gov ... 0 Spice ... 5 Trade Law ... 4 Population I'm guessing this is a bad place to live a procgen bug. Although it is funny that they have high trade laws when they have no economy Nvidia Shield K1 Android 7.0

Maybe it's because of the high trade laws that they have no economy.

I was mistaken. 1 0/0/5/7/0/5/4 and one 0/0/5/7/0/4/5 (just the last 2 swapped).

Good clues. Some odd bugs in the proc gen I guess generating this particular value set.
I'll keep digging, thanks for the confirmation.

Also, the game very, very much wants to put my Prince starting contact on one of these 0 econ, 0 starport, 0 spice worlds. To the point where it may even be 'if one of these sorts of Orbitals exist in your starting quadrant, make sure you put the Prince there' -- I'd have to start paying special attention to see if that is the case. But it sure feels like my starter Prince is nearly always on such a world.

No, that's not the case.

Seems like this issue is related specifically to Orbital Stations.

Are you seeing those mostly on two zone worlds?

Seems like this issue is related specifically to Orbital Stations. Looks like that from my end, too. Yes, mostly 2 zone worlds. And mostly 2 zone and the other one isn't a wilderness worlds in particular.

I think I figured it out.

Thanks to the detailed reports and specific information, I was able to easily track down and fix this bug.
I added a check rule to the end and generated 150,000 Quadrants without it occurring.
Before it would trigger something like 1 in every 11 worlds.
