This is a brainstorming thread, because I'm planning *a separate* thread dedicated to helping people improve their tactics with the aim to move up in difficulty level or to be the best Templar Captain they can be.
I'm looking for:
--Veterans of high difficulty levels (Brutal and above please) who will be willing to provide additional feedback on certain aspects of the game.
--People who are stuck on easier levels because they struggle with certain aspects of the gameplay, like Xeno management and removal, Movement management, Heat management, or literally ANYTHING ELSE they feel is keeping them from progressing. I would be interested in seeing if there is a common theme which is holding people back from progressing
--Links people have found useful in gaining understanding of the finer points of the game (like that Overwatch In-Depth thread fallen linked)
--Information that people want/need to see in order to improve their knowledge of the game so they can handle higher difficulties.
--ANYTHING else people think is relevant.
This is going to be an ambitious project, so I'm trying to gain intel on where to focus my efforts and what needs the most attention for this to be most effective.
This is not meant to be a bragging thread, nor is it intended to embarrass people who are having issues. Templar Battleforce is a game best experienced when the Xeno are at their worst, and to experience the fury which is Trese Brother's most polished and challenging (IMO) tactical game to date you should be equipped with as much knowledge as possible in order to stand against what the game is capable of throwing at you.
Topics I'm already planning on covering:
--Critical aspects VITAL for survival on higher difficulties (OW, Hydras' Spawn Suppression, Movement and Heat management)
--Pre-Planning your Battleforce before starting the game.
--Buffs and when/when not to use them, and why.
--In-Depth for each Templar Class, Strengths, Weaknesses, most/least useful talents, when/when not to use, How to Use, How not to Use
--Req Tree and planning unlocks for most effect.
--Gear Selection
--Weaponry, how to use them and when
--Optimal map movement and how to get from A to B without getting yourself killed in the process
--Optimal class builds
--Crowd Control and how to handle them without losing your cool
--Aces-in-the-Hole and how to fight dirty in order to come out on top.
--Focusing on the objective (!!!)
--Turrets as OW coverage or decoy/distraction
--Hydra Specialist and how to use. *planning your next BBQ thread link*
--Embracing the Heat
--Melee and ranged solutions to tough enemies
--Stealth?

***More to come***
PLEASE FEEL FREE TO CHIME IN! This thread will be the sum of its parts, so if ANYONE sees anything they want covered but isn't, or ANYTHING ELSE, please post here, along with anything you feel will be useful (Links, previous threads, personal thoughts, and if people have Steam Guides they have found helpful, please link them so I can read up on them!!!)
Thanks all, and I'm excited to see what comes out of this!
