Concussion Grenades: I can only use them with a Soldier in the front most position. This puts him too close to use other attacks in the next round. Light machine guns, Sniper rifles, and Heavy machine guns can't fire from 1st position. Makes sense they can only use special attack talents from position 3 or 4. Vulture Snubber: Looks like a short barreled assault shot gun. I would like to make an exception that allows a Soldier using a Snubber in the front rank to use 2 talents. 1) Covering Fire: There is a good chance a shot gun blast at point blank range could hit two targets, with less damage, giving the Soldier time to move back 1 position. 2) Suppressing Fire: A single target hit with a shot gun blast at close range would likely lose accuracy, and fall back for a couple of turns. I would find a shot gun going off in my face very suppressing

I think that's a built-in trade-off for being a powerful debuff attack. You need to deliberately position yourself (and sacrifice attack ability) to pull it off.
You can couple that with Covering Fire, and with Swordsman/Pistoleer Talents that advance forward to move yourself back to the rear.
Or just stay in front and spam Grenades, since there is no cooldown.

Definitely stuff we're hoping to improve on. Weapon and Talent ranges aren't all working as intended at the moment, so until they do we are not restricting the Snubber's use in the back ranks.
It's a tough one to match Talent to Weapon. It may turn out to be more of a Job thing -- that there is a close-combat type Soldier and the Soldiers we are seeing today are really only viable in the backline and therefore should not equip Snubbers.
Today, weapons (Snubber / Sniper) are not effected by your position in combat.

Throw a Grenade, have your swordsman advance with a Buff, drop back with Covering Fire ... Burst, Burst, Burst. Concussion Grenade is a great Talent. Consider starting your Soldier in the front rank.

Excellent those are the only 2 weapons I didn't try in the first row, by then combat was getting to dangerous to risk it not working. I hope the Snubber remains unchanged. Trying it out today. Thank you soooo much big help!

Sniper is a good alternative for Soldiers that have much better Quickness than Strength (especially with the implant).
