Not sure if it is possible at this point but think it would be good if when starting a new Captain you could choose their faction prior to map generation.
Not an issue if you choose to include all factions when creating a map, but if someone decides for whatever reason to play with fewer than max number of factions that their desired faction be included in the generation process.
