Scrolling Death List for Ship Combat

Could there be a scrolling list of major events during ship combat?

This would announce only major events like death of an officer (shows name), death of other crew (only a count). This would make combat more immersive.

Some indication of ship damage would be cool too, but that could get complicated, so maybe just the deaths. Added bonus for only reporting deaths, we could refer to it as the Scrolling Death Log, which has a certain ring to it. :-)

Not asking for stuff added to the combat log.

I am asking for notification of crew death during ship-to-ship combat. Finding out crew has died when it happens would make ship combat more exciting. Ideally, the notification would come during or at the end of the turn during which the death occurred. It might float up with damage notification.

I suggesting naming officers and just giving a count for non officers.
