At this time we are adding new upgrades, not new slots, sorry. I will take barrage gun updates under advisement. Cool, either way. New options.  What kind of Droid do you use? I'm using an LG Optimus M from MetroPCS. |

exavion -- this is a bug I am guessing.
I have updated v2.9.1 which should help.
The check is for Level 10 or above and "Ship Score of 1"
you can find the Captain's ship score under "In Victory" at the end as "you have owned %d different space Vessels."

Yea I've gotten to lvl 10 in difficult (the needed difficulty to unlock the award) in the Vae Victus and nothing.. No renaming either.. I've also gotten to lvl 5 countless times with vae victus and it just won't unlock that one. I even just got to lvl 5 on crazy (died around lvl 7) and still no go (i'm not very good at this game on higher levels yet lol)..

Found another award bug. When the award update hit, my pirate was on year 99 in challenging mode and had positive rep with all factions. For some reason the "Big Tent" award isn't being claimed.

Yes I did, and I still didn't get the award... at first. After playing for an hour eventually I tried it again at a different place and it worked. Weird.

There are definitely some bugs, next release will try to improve it and fix the UX issue about "what do I do to unlock?"

For whatever reason, I have a handful of awards, but I'm not able to utilize them. I suppose I could be doing something wrong, but for example, one of the awards that I have is Dark Nemesis. It says that it unlocks starting ship Serpent Tooth, on Crazy difficulty. When I try to choose this ship, it doesn't let me use it? Where it says [Difficulty: Crazy], is that saying you need to go and acquire the same award on the Crazy difficulty, or is it saying that you've unlocked an item to use on that particular difficulty?

Same problem here - got the awards, not able to use granted ships (from hardcore captain and rapid rank 2). Otherwise, great game.

First, sorry for the confusion. Second, I am working to improve the UI on the locking so it is more clear and fun to use.

Summary:
If you get the Award on Crazy difficulty, it will unlock the item for the entire game, any difficulty.
Issue:
I don't think the status change of an item from lock to unlocked is very clear right now. I am working on that.
In addition, I'm concerned some people are missing the "Elite only" flags on some awards. I'm going to re-add all 6 starting ships to RPG with the "Unlocked, but for Elite only" message.
