Ok so after updating the game yesterday I was makin my way back to a planet and I happened to bump into a ship, now me being ina hurry I just pressed retreat but when I checked the ships stats it turned out to be a lvl 164 ship called "Righteous space-hulk" although the only thing about it that was righteous was that its cargo hold had 800, now I'm wondering if its a bug or some random chance meeting to get a weird ship?

The Righteous Space Hulk is an ancient ship set adrift following the "Battle of Righteous IV"
The conflict in high orbit of the fourth moon of planet Righteous ended with the sudden and inexplicable disappearance of the hulk as it fell from orbit headed for the surface of Righteous IV.
Is possible that you had too much spice and you are telling tall tales? The Righteous Space Hulk is a legend and no living man has seen it. =)

Be warned -- you cannot capture the Space Hulk.
But you do get 20 experience, hundreds of thousands of credits and 800 units of cargo =)

I got a captain to level 10 with only the Vae Victus but the award won't unlock....... The check is as follows in v3.0.5 IF: mCharacter.CharacterLevel() >= 10 && mCharacterScore.score_ship == 1 -- So, does Character Level show "10" and does Score > Ship's Owned in Career show 1?

Since the last update, starting a new game (at least in elite) allows you to use the Serpent Tooth, Picky Beggar, and Tempus Fugit whether or not you've unlocked the achievement. If you pick one of those ships, a toast comes up saying achievement unlocked and you can use the ship.

i'm hopeless haha. i really test more for crashes and balance issues.
i was happy that the ships loaded -- i assumed i had the unlocks while i was testing.
-----------
I hereby declare a temporary open testing period for the new ships.
Try them out free of unlocks =)

doing blocades on independent planet quite often damage sails... but there is no toasts about that - they are shows only when you are on journey also that one-eyed girl dont repair them when it occures. she do it only when toast shows up

Seems that something has changed over several updates.
Doing Contracts... You arrive at the planet and "Bridge" is highlighted. You choose the option for "Urban", instead. ( I prefer to do this, as I don't like being taken back to space/my ship until I'm done in town). Either option you choose will send you back to space when the contract is complete.
I'd rather only go back to space if I choose the "Bridge" option and then "Urban". Sometimes the delivery is in the Star Port, and I need repairs. Which means, I have to re-land on the planet. It's additional clicks and I think it also costs additional fuel?
Could this be changed please?
Also, it appears that when I'm trying to move, and I get stopped by an encounter - it costs me fuel when I don't get to actually move. I've been stopped 4 times in the same sector and lost to much fuel. It doesn't seem right that even though I can't move, I'm losing fuel. Can the math on this be changed so that the penalty isn't quite as bad? I'm not saying remove it, but make it so it's not such a huge penalty.
Thank you SOOOOOOO much for the autopilot update after choosing a contract!!!! (Omg, I love this soooo much. It's saved A TON of clicking!)

The long story:
Contracts today are space combat contracts. The Captain sneaks onto the planet (hiding his ship and Crew somewhere) and makes his way into the Urban Zone.
Making his way to the Stardock, he (100% of the time today) passes a Stealth/Tactics check and spots the correct target. He tracks the target until he returns to his ship (because you guys can't use the Captain vs. Captain dueling interface yet)
That is when the Captain springs his brilliant trap and ambushes the ship in LPO. There are other contract types that will not involve returning to space because they won't involve the ship.
--------------
I hate to say it but I am a long way away from being able to change either of these codes.
"Returning to space" may seem like an extremely arbitrary action, but it isn't intended that way -- it is part of the game's story and also part of the game's engine (unfortunate on the second part.)
The game's internal memory and logic structures NEED to return to space to update -- the Urban Zone code just doesn't work that way.
------------
Yes, it is just Java -- and yes, I certainly could re-write anything in ST RPG if budget and schedule allowed it.
I'm not trying to hide behind "that is how the code works and you cannot change it."
What I'm trying to say is "That is how the story is told today and I cannot prioritize that change

I'm also adding a "waypoint next contract" to the "contract complete" page, so like when you take a new contract it waypoints -- the same will happen when you finish one and still have another to do.

A button to pop the contract page up right there would be cool too.. i like to see if any are about to expire or if any are super close when i have a lot on my plate.
