The march to Star Traders 2 launch continues! We have finished our Phase 2 roadmap and are excited to release the first major feature set for Phase 3 -- Buying and Dry Docking Ships. This is a huge game changer. Now you have something to spend all that money on!  This first release includes the basic features for buying, dry docking, swapping, and upgrading ships in dry dock. Upcoming releases in Phase 3 will limit dry dock by Faction Rank and also begin to limit ship hulls and ship components available in zone's based on your Rank, Edicts, and their Starport, Military and Economy ratings. Lots more coming, but this first release gets the basic platform out there for our Alpha captains! **** This release REQUIRES that you uninstall or delete the previous install ****
If you don't uninstall before upgrading, it will crash!
**** Uninstall the app before reinstalling the new version ****
**** Win32: Delete all files in "%LOCALAPPDATA%\StarTraders2\" folder ***
**** Android: Use "Settings > Apps" to completely uninstall old version ***
**** iOS: Completely uninstall old version ***
**** Mac OS X: Delete All files in "~/Library/StarTraders2/"

Congrats to the TBs, this is awesome!
The good news is I was appointed interim VP of my department. The bad news is work is crazy and I haven't been able to alpha. I hope to get back to alpha a little later this summer once I've put out some fires.

Thanks for the well wishes. Interim VP is a mixed blessing, as it takes away from the work I like most and I'm unlikely to get the permanent position since i don't have my phd. However, I'm best qualified in the department and better me than the person who really wanted it. She's a narcissistic scorpion, as in the fable about the Frog and the Scorpion.
A scorpion asks a frog to carry it across a river. The frog hesitates, afraid of being stung, but the scorpion argues that if it did so, they would both drown. Considering this, the frog agrees, but midway across the river the scorpion does indeed sting the frog, dooming them both. When the frog asks the scorpion why, the scorpion replies that it was in its nature to do so.
The pay bump is nice. :-)
