 We see your big summer sale (50% off!) and raise you some new story content! This week, we've released two new dungeons and the ability to move forward in the Episode 4 story another step. If you're at the end of the current arc in Ember, this one is for you. The next set of releases will all feature small expansions to allow you to travel the full world again -- both east and west -- with all the changes of your choices in the end of Episode 1 - 4 coming to bear. To help with tracking your buffs and curses, wherever they are displayed they now include the level. Ah, of course, I am so sorry about that!
So, I already saved the Outlook back in ep 3 and granted the Ninth son the right to live. Also, after fighting at the last tower, Tamilin said that "Nikolai was fighting a retreat", thus I was certain that Nikolai wouldn't die after the City of the dead.
However, after exiting the Ruin of Ember, Nikolai's ghost appeared and my group gained exp, along with a quest log saying that "We met Nikolai Ramius's passing soul at the gate..." and now I am confused if I did something wrong

Ok. I will investigate. The groups I took through there in testing all had expected results. Perhaps it is related to the ongoing bug with Hagathrun's choice. I will see what I can figure out. Any chance you can send in a saved game? |

Also, I only found the Necromantic Sanctuary, is the other dugeon accessible through the Ruins of Ember map? I could see a hidden door at the lower part of that map but it doesn't seem to do anything when interacted with

I do think tran may have started me down a line of investigation that will unravel all the bugs that have been hanging around Nikolai and Hagathrun. I'm on to something, down in the dark world of switched states, crossed events ... I just have to keep putting the pieces together. |

I could see a hidden door at the lower part of that map but it doesn't seem to do anything when interacted with No, the Necromantic Sanctuary is not accessible via Ruins of Ember, only through the Western District. |

fallen I already found the Necromantic Sanctuary but I didn't see the other dugeon Also, my group is stuck at the entrance to the Sanctuary as clicking the stairway would un-gloom them intead of getting them out! Will Nikolai be ok now that my quest log says he is dead? And could you post the dialog of meeting him alive for me? I'm curious!

I will post more when I know more. The other "dungeon" is the Western District. Head west out of the Ruins of Ember. You can't possibly have found the Necromantic Sanctuary unless you were already in the Western District  |

No worries. I will fix the issue with the Necromantic Sanctuary asap
Big thanks on the Nikolai issue, I believe you have provided the clue that will help me resolve a whole host of bugs.
And yes, if I do isolate a bug, I will make sure things get fixed so that your Quest Log and game state are right. It won't be the last time you see him.

Hi. How do I access the two new dungeons in Ember?
My party was waiting by the exit ready to leave, now I can access the war camps but get no further and I can't find the new dungeons.
I did have an unexpected visit just like Tran did.
