captains home faction?

hi guys,

my captain shows up as clan javat as this is where i started i guess -
im about to go to war with CJ (just for badness!) and was wondering if i can alter this affiliation? and does it have any impact on game at all? ie how other factions view me etc

Nope ... once a Javatian, always a Javatian. You can definitely go negative RP in terms of your home faction ... but it is who you are. You can't disown the faction and they can't disown you. You'll just become one of those embarrassments that Javat leadership tries to avoid mentioning.
