So, I'm playing on crazy, on the 100x100 rinze map. It's turn 293, and I have 24 colonies. Most of them are in the bottom left corner, but I've begun expanding towards the center to get better systems. Anyway, I still haven't seen a single zeno.
Is this normal, am I expanding too slowly, or is something wierd?
Thanks for the help.

How many Xeno are on the map with you?
You'll find them soon enough, especially now that you've expanded away from your starting area. Each Xeno on the map will go through periods alternating between passive (when they focus on expansion and economy), and aggressive (when they focus on hunting and attacking).
They don't know where you are until you make contact, just like you don't know where they are, so they're probably doing the same thing you are, expanding and world building until they find you, then it's on.

I have three xeno, but all of them are neutral, so that probably explains why I haven't seen them. I guess I'll just keep going. Also, about how many turns do most games on big maps take?
