Easy way to make money

So, I discovered a really easy way to make money, and was surprised to not find it on here. So I'm putting it here myself.

Basically, the Syndacite Core will always buy spice at a really high price. And the two nearby Devaltos worlds, along with the Cadar one, always sell spice for a good price. So all you do is pick Rychart as your starting faction, and ship spice into the capital. Once you have money you can get a new ship, and begin expanding your range.

The only way this fails is if Devaltos and Rychart get into an Embargo. Cadar is important, but to a lesser extent.

Note:I haven't succeeded with this on difficulties above crazy, so maybe it gets less effective. But I think I'm just not that good yet.

There are just more ways to get easy money. Trade routes are one of them, another one is exploring and then lucrative quests (failed to get any lately though) or simply surveillance. These tips are aound here somewhere,just not in one topic.

Welcome to the TB forums, 1melkor1 . Glad you have found a method that works well for you and are here to share it with anyone. As poryg mentioned, STRPG is designed to have many different options for "success". Now that you have a way to get reasonably established in the game world, feel free to branch out and try other activities too. There is a lot to discover.

Javat Prime sells spice cheap, and you can sell it at any of the Thulun worlds, as well as Steel Prima, or even the independent worlds, in the case of embargoes.

Okay, I just have had much more success with this than with chasing down rumors, so I decided to post it.

Also, since I found this through 4x, and because Steel Song always tries to kill me, I am firmly a Cadar supporter.

Yeah, I feel you. I've got the exact same problems, SS always trying to kill me by setting up tasks so they would hate me. Also, since updating to android 6, I'm less prone to getting any lucrative contracts
