Just as the tile says. What movies have you guys seen as of late and what where your thoughts on them ?
I watched Hardcore Henry yesterday and honestly it's VERY unique. It's not just because of the first person view (The idea is the You the viewer is Henry) but because it's a cliche plot "Evil mastermind steals girlfriend/wife MC out for revenge" but it was done in a way that didn't make it seem like it was cliche. There we're some jokes that we're just crazy but funny as hell.

Just saw the trailer for that. Wow, that is... very unusual. Seems quite violent for my tastes, but it's definitely on my watchlist now. Thanks!
Was not too recent, but I would recommend checking out Cidade de Deus (City Of God) from 2002. A very amazing portrayal of kids growing up as part of gang life in Brazilian favelas/slums. I've never forgotten it.

Well it is violent Henry does split the main bad guy's hand in half and cuts his head off with his opic nerve. Very bloody truth to be told. So if you can't eat while watching a gory movie i'd suggest you skip the last 20-30 minutes. And just before it ends there is kinda a morbid joke. All i'll say is EZ

Watched Jurassic Park 1 again last night, didn't think I'd get into it like I used to but...the second I heard the theme when they're seeing the dinosaurs for the first time I was hooked like I was 10 again.
Still one of my favorite movies

I'll watch that for sure. Letters from Iwo Jima is a sad story also. Flags of our fathers is it's sibling movie(Flags from American view of the battle Iwo Jima from the Japanese view). You need to understand both sides to get the bigger picture.

Still one of my favorite movies The special effects and SFX still feel good to me in Jurassic Park which I think is pretty incredible given it is from 1993 (24 years ago.)
