We've got, so far, officers for just about everything. Explorers have scout to boost loot and prevent crew damage, gun bunnies have pilot and fire officer, merchants have their officers, boarders have their officers... There are officers for blockades and surveillance, for crew morale, mutiny damage soaking, captain hp damage soaking, officers against aliens,... And kickstarter has Shipwright, pirate and medic. However, we are missing officers for stealth and torpedoes. Smugglers have nothing to boost stealth, only to boost merchandise. Torp users have nothing to boost stealth... And torpedo fire (one exception is torpedo bonuses from vet against aliens). Gun bunnies even got their fire officer, so they don't need as much tactics now. But torp users have no officer to improve accuracy. That's not fair though I'm actually surprised it took me so long to create this thread...

I'm pretty sure I recall Cory saying somewhere on the forum that a Torp Officer is on the list of things to add... so unless I'm mistaken you only need to be patient.

We held a Patreon poll back in 2016 as to whether to add a Gunnery or Torp officer to Star Traders RPG. The gunner was selected and added to the game. We don't have plans to add a Torp officer. Thanks to all of our Patreons for their support and votes! www.patreon.com/TreseBrothers
