Nope. Sorry. Doesn't answer my question. Doesn't even touch it. In that case, I have no idea what the question is. The one bobc answered, though since he doesn't have access to the code, he couldn't be 100% positive, of course. ● In crew combat, are some skills pooled? ● In crew combat, do Command and Intimidation provide some advantages, as Tactics does? (Not just through talents.) The Wiki only mentions skill pooling for ship combat, but doesn't make it clear that skill pooling doesn't work for crew combat.

From current experience and understanding of discussion on threads etc, crew combat is a personal affair, with no pooled skills, with no foreseen intention to pool skills in the future. However, a combatant may be able to use their skills/attributes with an appropriate talent to benefit the combat team, such as getting a 'doctor skill + 20' hp recovery from the medic. My understanding as well. Outside of AOE talents (Backline buff, group healing etc..), everyone is on their own. No pooling of skills in combat.

"In crew combat, skills aren't pooled, and they're only used through talents (except for Evasion)." Correct? I mean, to add as an answer in the opening post, with also a link to the updated Wiki page. So I guess everyone holding a gun has a basic "shoot" talent to use in crew combat.

Sinocelt - yes, default talents are added whenever you start combat. Everyone has one, based on the weapon type you are carrying. All Skills in crew combat (including Evasion) are individual. Pooling is never used, ever, never.

Does the wiki explain it well? Shoudl edits be made to improve? Hm, yes, they should. The Wiki is rather clear, but your last post was clearer. On that specific point, I mean; the Wiki answers other potential questions. How about changing this ...In Crew Combat, an individual crew member uses their own Maximum Skill Value whenever using any Talent. This relies only on the individual's Skill. ... into this?In Crew Combat, Skills other than Evasion are only used through Talents, so Skills are never pooled: the combatants each use their own Maximum Skill Values. (Default Talents are added whenever combat starts, so that each combatant has one based on the type of weapon carried.)
