Been playing for years and in the last couple of weeks my ship has been moving at half speed or slower. Is there a setting that I may have toggled?
Please don't worry too much about troubleshooting. I just wanted to make sure it wasn't something simple I could do.
Google pixel, Oreo.
Thanks!

I have this issue anytime to be honest. Only recording videos helps speed it up.

LOL poryg often makes some ... interesting suggestions about how to tune the Android operating system. More than likely it is a GPU profile mismatch in our drawing code. Do you what kind of device you use?

I always launch AZ video recorder before launching the game and for like 20 minutes I record my gameplay. Then I stop, delete the video, close the program and then the speed is not stable, but is faster than it would be normally. Although once I managed to launch the game and run it at fast speeds without doing anything else, which was surprising... And never replicated again Cory Trese I know that may look weird, but it seriously works for me.

Have you installed any OS updates recently? I will investigate the device support package for the Google Pixel, but if it EVER ran well on that device then it was supported. I hope I can help you, poryg is too far from reality to be helped, I'm afraid.

Oh, so it is the Google Pixel XL? And you just upgraded to that, from the Google Pixel?

I've seen the slow navigation in ST over multiple devices on various versions. It's not something that I can force replication on though - just something that makes navigation extremely painful. It rights itself without specific remedy, and once gone, usually doesn't reappear during that instance of the game.
I will try and trigger the issue by filling up my phone memory with other stuff and see if that slows things down.

Yup, when it remedies itself, it doesn't return during the same instance of the game... But will still return later. A weird thing, however it's not fault of the game, but renderer.

I started seeing this immediately after upgrading to Oreo from v7.1.1.
