Post Your Stats and AwardsRemember the Sat Night Live skit? "How much ya bench". Huge upper body guys with shriveled legs and totally steroid enraged. Viewer's call in and drive them crazy. How's everybody doing with the Awards? Go to Status ==> Captain's Log. At bottom of screen you will see 2 buttons. Awards: will display which ones you have. Scores and Stats: Shows different things. The most important is allowing you to estimate what you have to do to get your next chosen award. What do you think? Too hard, too easy, something missing or possibly bugged? My opinion: For too hard or easy, I think it depends on what type of activity. I don't destroy ships or hunt xenos. It also depends on what you designed your team to do. I'm just getting down to what I designed them to do, time will tell. I'm looking forward to learning more about the game from your posts. Here's what I got so far. Scores & Stats |

John Robinson - big thanks for kicking this off! One question -- 89 contacts is a lot! Do you have any big piles on worlds? 89 Contacts too many? I don't think so and here is why. 1.) Seed st-v01-32-4-43118848 2.) Turns 18,058 year 244.37 AE I don't care about the number of turns because this is about a slow build experimental team testing a specific combat technique. 3.) 1/3 of the total 89 contacts are unsuitable for my team build and never get used. (Table-2) Table-1 Optimized to generate Contacts Seed = st-v01-32-4-43118848 | Turns = 18,058, Year = 244.37 |
| Captain has Market Confidant | Trade >$5k 10% + (Charisma% =32) = 42% Chance of gaining new contact |
| Officer-2 has Unseen Traces | When landing in wild zone 10% + (Explore = 13) = 23% Chance of gaining new contact |
| 4 lvl(32) Navigators with Talk of Far Worlds | When spicing 10% + (Nav = 20) = 30% Chance of gaining New Contact | 2 More Navs in development | 1 level(16) already has T-F-Worlds |
| High Ranking Contacts | Purchase introductions (very unsatisfied with results needs re-balancing?) |
| 4 Lvl(32) Etechs have Listening Post | Landing in Urban zone 10% + (Elect = 17) = 27% Chance of gaining new contact | 3 More Etechs in development | 1 level(14) already has it 2 more in development |
| Thulun Hates me -118 Rep Legendary Crime Lord | I take missions against them whenever offered, it generates contacts I don't use. |
Table-2 Contacts Unsuitable to my Team build, remain unused. Total = 31 Unused | Includes Thulun(12) | Chaesin Doctors(2) | Intel Officers(5) | Merchants(4) | Military Commanders(6) | Prison Wardens(4) |
| Senate Liason(2) | Warlords(4) | Blade Dancer(4) |

Great answer, thank you for the informative analysis.
Do you run into worlds where you have 3-4 contacts all on the same world, or are they mostly spread around in 1s and 2s?

Great answer, thank you for the informative analysis. Do you run into worlds where you have 3-4 contacts all on the same world, or are they mostly spread around in 1s and 2s? Majority are 1's. Fewer 2's. 3's rare unless it's my own Faction, usually found in my Starting Quadrant. 4's never seen one yet. The most common situation: I have passed through a quadrant enough times that I'll develop multiple 1's on separate worlds in that quadrant, or I purchased one. I always play "packed Density, 32 quads" Seems to be optimal for compressing the distances between quads, and raising potential number of contacts, Is that true?
